What customisations have been done to the Palm Garnet OS to fit an XP series PDA? In particular how does programming an XP series device differ from developing for a Palm device?

There is an imager and in some units an 802.11 radio for communications.  There are modifications to accommodate those interfaces.  You may gain access to our SDK(software development kit) by requesting a user id and password from the URL   http://www.janam.com/partner-login.php

What is the platform upgrade path from PalmOS 5.4.9? (It appears that ACCESS has stopped development of PalmOS in favour of ALP)

At this point, Janam does not intend to move beyond 5.4.  The platform has been out for awhile and is very stable, one of the customers biggest complaints is always having to upgrade the OS.
